Company history
The Company Fratelli Calabretta was founded in Acireale, between the Etna slopes and the Ionion coast of Sicily known as the “Riviera dei limoni”, by a family with a long tradition in the citrus production. The founder Giuseppe Calabretta, son of Angelo, was already making fresh fruit products and exporting lemons to various European countries at the beginning of the XX century.

The key constituent part of our products quality lies in the careful selection of the citrus fruit, their simultaneous processing and the rapid cooling of the squeezed juice. It ensures that the juice keeps the organoleptic characteristics of the fruit unaltered. The quality of the products (pulp, juice, essential oil and peel) is guaranteed throughout the entire production by an effective tracking system and by an accurate chemical–physical control carried out in our on-site laboratory.
Where we are
The factory and the administrative offices of the FRATELLI CALABRETTA company of Calabretta Giuseppe e C s.n.c.
they are located on Via Nazionale for Catania n.5, Acireale and are easily accessible from the A18 Messina – Catania motorway, Acireale exit, continuing on the SS 114 state road towards Catania, up to the locality of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
